Poem -

No Mercy

Tear Heaven Asunder

I am in anguish and lament

The veil of my heart is rent

If it was made of glass, I'd smash it

If carved from wood, I'd set it ablaze

Molded of steel? I'd smelt it into a river for my tears to drown in

I'd tear down its fortress in a fit of rage

I'd let all it's inner beast out of the cage

If my heart could sound, I'd let it scream; it's piercing light like a dying star

Let the darkness enter
and leave behind a lasered scar

upon the drum skin of Akasha
