He saw her when she was nothing, he found her beautiful when the world said she was evil. She'd never fell at the hands of any angel or man, her job was to destroy not take the time to feel. She watched his freedom burn away and as he tossed his heart into the fire, she watched him cry for the first time. "There is no Neverland, only hell and the monster who run you. In the end we all become drones and lose our faith in anything and everything." To hear him give up killed her, why breath if the air is tainted? Why run if the roads end? And with the last burning ember dying he turned to walk away, giving her one last kiss.
A tear slowly fell from her eye, she sat there for hours after he left, crying oceans and drowning ships but nothing could make her smile not the way he use to. She thought maybe he was right, maybe it was time to join the rest of them. Just work till you bleed just to feed the mouths of ungrateful beasts, you feel nothing and become nothing till you fade away and find peace at the end of a barrel. You become another number. Everything she has done up to this point was to stand out and not become another mistake. But watching him give up, she thought maybe it was time to stop running, maybe she should follow his lead.
So She laid there on the beach watching the morning sun fight an evening storm, she slowly let out a breath and cried "forgive my broken sins they are all I have to remind me...to remind me I once had a heart. The heart I dared to drown in the deepest of blue that washed away with the smallest of tears" She gently closed her tear filled eyes and whispered "I'm tired of running, I can only dream we will be together again" She just laid there and let the oceans she had cried swallow her whole. For once this world will know peace and not her pain, and hope that someone remember the name of the invisible girl you dared to love a wildfire at the end of his rope.
