Nobody Saw

Nobody Saw

Nobody saw.

It was rain,
Of a kind that says,
"Why stay dry?"
I look, wait, think
and walk.
Roads flow as brooks,
Things float and bob,
And pass by.
Drops fall
Now soft, now hard;
Soak my body,
Wash away salts,
Off my body,
Off my soul.

Nobody saw.
