Not alone

When sadness n shade
Makes you hurt to your core
It's sting is not unknown  because it pain you've felt before

When the same pain hurts in ways different n new
It's hard to remember
That it isnt only you

Pain from the past both recent and old
Exhausts you mind and spirit
As its a tale that's been told

For those times or darkness
when solitude is what you seek
Try to remember there's always someone around
Though you may not want to speak 

Bare no shame or anguish and speak from that point so low
An ear and a shoulder will be there to set a small light aglow

The problems may not vanish after a chat over the phone
But a weight will be lifted
As you remember you will not face them alone

Be brave my friend and strong
Face it all head on
And remember at the end
That support will not be gone

For friend both stranger and known
whose troubles have begun
Simply remember the words 
You must talk to someone
