My Hell is my Light

I see my angel
that light which she cast
Makes me burn in hell
For the warmth does not last

Her smile shines like a million stars
Its light reaches far beyond the dust of mars
This light burns for I know it is not mine
And I know never will I hold something so divine

My heart is hers, always and eternal
But her heart belongs to another
makes my love void and null
For she loves me as a brother

So this is the hell in which I stand
And the truth is such and so
Denied will I be a love so grand,
One for which to hell gladly I'd go

Not hearing the lesson I should learn
Deaf to all wisdom and what others say
