NOT JUST FOR BREAKFAST

Over one hundred years I have been in a bowl
To satisfy breakfast hunger my ultimate goal
Many others try and have tried but I hit the spot
Milk is poured over me doesn't matter cold or hot

Some of you add sugar to sweeten my taste
Bear in mind though this increases your waist
I think it was Mister Kellog who invented me
No doubt wanting a change to his toast and tea

Corn is my main ingredient I'm sure you know
Vitamins are also in me to help the kiddies grow
Raise your spoon and honour me I'm a corn flake
The adventurous of you will turn me into a cake
