Not Lies Exactly

They are, she claims, only other versions of the truth.
He doesn't trust her.
Perhaps he shouldn't. Β This may be a setup.
Others version of the truth, you say? Β What the
hell does that mean?
She's always been this way: inclined to use slippery
words instead of those which, like eating
oatmeal every morning, are immediately solidifying.
He wants to confront her, but it seems
useless. Β She'll only offer more lies cloaked in this
new dress. Β He's heard enough.Β

Hey JULIE HENDERSON!!..... this is VERY clever poetic prose!!...... the way you used bits of dialogue to help the movement...... and to deliver the intent of the mistrust between them is very original!!......a compelling read for sure!!.......ALL STARS!!..... well done....... and.......WELCOME to COSMO!!.......T xo.Β ?
Dear Tony Taylor,
Thank you for your kind words. Β I am pleased your appreciated "Not Lies Exactly." Β I often use dialogue in my poetry, although I wonder if I occasionally overuse it.
Thank you also for the welcome to COSMO. Β I look forward to submitting more pieces soon.

Julie Henderson
