NOT MINE...

And hers...
was a soul of flawless glass

that reflected the sunlight
onto all in her path

that echoed the song
of the angels above

so that all might be bathed
in gods love

she rotated the rainbows
to spread colour around

bid pastel raindrops
to fall on parched ground

she was both heaven
and heavens scent

an earthly angel
that god only lent

for so few years
In the ticking time

borrowed only
and never mine

to keep...
