It DIDN'T take you unaware,
I made it CLEAR I'd go!
WHY the hurt belligerence?
ACTING so hard done.
If you'd had RESPECT for ME,
This day would NOT have come!
Why are YOU defensive?
Laying blame ELSEWHERE!
I TOLD you, if you let her STAY,
I'd END it, then and there!
You KNEW for several YEARS,
her landlord wanted her to MOVE!
NOT your responsibility!
You've NOTHING MORE to prove!
I bear her NO bad feeling,
this ISN'T down to her.
I asked YOU, "please, just talk to her?"
But you CHOSE to defer!
Even WORSE you LIED to me!
You both KNEW all along!
You PLANNED that this WOULD happen,
and sang deceit's sweet song!
"It's okay, I'll talk her round."
"She'll calm down in the end."
