Poem -

Not to be

Not to be

Your magnetism is a force of nature,
Ever drawing me in.
I lose myself in you,
Again and again and again.
I crave you always,
You are my addiction.
My jubilee, my torment,
My euphoria, my affliction.
Always wanting to take you in,
Even knowing the coming pain,
I would give everything up eagerly,
Risking it all to dance in the rain.
Though my yearning is great,
I know it won’t come true.
Since you seek another,
I am not for you.
I grudgingly accept malcontent,
Of my fate being known.
My love shall go unanswered,
My heart will beat alone.
