Nothing Ever Changes: ( UK Politics)

Do we really have to hear from the mouths
Of key, yet crass, candidates, redundant
Statements of the obvious?! They kowtow
To big business. They'll crush any dissent.
Indeed, that's all we need to know about
Those fiends; the rest is hogwash, it seems.
O like those before them, there is no doubt
That they will, in due course, sow corrupt seeds,
And coldly watch as they rapidly grow
Into poisonous flowers! Those who go
Round and round, like dull goldfish in a bowl
Cannot perceive this. For they do not know
How the time-honoured class system operates.
They never act, all they ever do is wait,
For a blissful future that will never be.
Jesus wept, Jesus Christ, how blind can they be?!!!
