Nothing Happened

Life goes on like nothing happened
All I hear around me is happy chatter 
However all this noise turned into static
Nobody's cares that last week was traumatic
There's an emptiness in my bottomless heart 
Dreams of motherhood have fallen apart 
I feel acid building up inside my body 
Once again I won't be ''Mommy'' 
Baby's cries won't pierce my sound nights 
Still I remain hopeful for such delights 
In dreams I see my babies happy smiles
And for now I too must fake a little smile
