Nothing to be scared of

Nothing to be scared of

I walk through the city, seemingly happy people are passing by,
their world has seen nothing compared to mine and i wonder why.
I do not wish this on anyone but from experience i can say,
whats done, cant be undone.
People seek forgiveness rather than think, from experience i can say,
laugh and watch their ship sink.
Even if it happens over and over again from experience i can say
i feel no pain.
Sad to say i am used to it, and i watch it every day,
tear me apart, bit by bit.
Until that one day, where i think of a world, and how it could be,
surrounded by darkness, but finally free.
I fear me.
