Nothing’s changed then?

Sometimes to just sit my friend
and work out how this will end
to make some sense of all that is
to build a future and include this

the moments spent knowing truth
a feeling carried within recluse
having moments unprepared
and fuzzy in the time spent there

gathering more as I go
to where doesn’t matter though
having time to begin again
wisdom says ‘nothing’s changed then?’
