Now I die

No more room for me
Nor sunset lit skies
The ravens have gathered moss I left behind
And like a market place trying to find a buyer
Of my Soul
I have committed suicide to all my sanity
Sadden to the bones ...to dust
Mother where are you
I need you now
Let me feel your presence... like an angel breath
My time is now
I must die... again and again
Lost ...I Kneel.
Forgive me ...forgive me ....now I die
Another day begins

Hey LORRIS!!!.....wow....it seems a departure from what I'm used to reading from you...... of course i'm not here as much as I would like..... but .......gotta say this.... from the little I know of you.....THIS!!..is my favorite LORRIS write...... well conceived and BEAUTIFULLY delivered dear brother poet!!..... tons-O-stars!!......Well done.......LÔVE and ROCKETS!!......T xo ?✳✴☀♥?
Thank you Tony
Such aching despair ... such insurmountable loss. As simple and profound as a single, unremarkable human being weeping inconsolably for a lost and forgotten world.
And that last line..."Another day begins"...some may see the hopeful light of dawn...but there's also the impression of hopeless, quotidian striving; like Sisyphus sighing heavily as he presses his shoulder to the rock once more.
I agree with Tony...this is the best thing you've ever written.
J ;)
Thank you Jason
HI Lorris, I got chills reading this, sometimes we all need our mothers especially in times of despair. Another day begins, I read this as a slow decline into more of the same via the tone of the piece. Absolutely brilliant
