NRG
You give me life and pull it from me at the same time
You come to me like and an unexpected lover in the middle of the night
While darkness and calm surround others
You massage my body until I awake in a panic
Wondering why you interrupt my sleep
I want to give you a name but you are too elusive
You have me now - I'm awake, AlertĀ
You are so unfairĀ
You court me until you have me, then you leave me unfulfilledĀ
I loathe you and I want you
You destroy and nourish me
You will destroy and save me
