You gave me so much to believe in

You showed me the point of living

To drag me from the edge of the abyss

When about myself I couldn't care less

Taking the time to mend my wounds

You, an oasis amidst endless dunes

The nourishment that kept me alive

The reason I found the will to survive

You, gave me the strength to travel on
