Oblivious Captivation

When the leaves begin to dance in the wind

And the sun peeks out from it's hiding place

All I can think is how lucky I am.

Your heart beats under my head

And your fingers brush through my hair

It feels like I'm melting into you.

I drift off into a blissful oblivion

and I awake to your heartbeat quicken 

I gaze into your blue eyes and still, I'm so lucky.

Your heartbeat has me captivated

Like a hypnotist's watch.

I hold your focus and wonder what's next.

I look upon you curious,

Because I know you mean to speak

Then you draw your fingertips across my back.
 

Again I look up at you, wondering about your thoughts
