Poem -

ocean of tears

ocean of tears

hot tears stream down my face
the warmth is strangely comforting
the lining of my eyes overflow
to release my inner suffering
my body is swaying
with every heaving sob
my head is terribly spinning
and my heartbeat painfully throbs
i gasp for air and hold my breath
as i plunge back under the waves
i drown deeper in this ocean of tears
i cannot surface, i sink a slave
