October Rain

  October Rain
The cold gray skies draped its soul across a barren landscape. And the sun hangs as low, as the face of a widowed sea captains wife with tears of anguish upon her face.
The north winds howl bitting nashing, whipping gales, long gone the summer night. Beware of those, these October rains, mixed with ice and flake as they tear at leaf and kite.
Into the night add five hours more, less is the day, to squirrel away. Of harvest moons and crop less fields, of a fickle sun that once warmed the day.
A white measurable dust lay on field and road by break of day. With thoughts of just a few degrees more would melt it away.
And just a few days more before all helloes eve , when the hairs at the nap of your neck do raise at the fright. Not only for the ghost of the season, but for the end of the season that brings chills through the night.
So I write this song as we lift our glass, to a month gone by with no refrain . We will miss your warm fall days and cool nights, but we will never miss that October rain.

I love OCTOBER I was born 3 days before Halloween boo!
Coming from northern Wisconsin ,October shows us how short life is and how important it is to respect life and take it seriously. October Rains are colder than winter snows . Love to all
