Octogram #3

Octogram #3

``````````For Such As I````````````
A tale of deep perplexity,
for such as I.
See I care for the elderly,
at least I try.
This occupation I adored,
I now find I cannot afford.
Anxiety runs much too high,
for such as I.
``````````````````
You'd not believe, the things you see,
beneath the sky.
As age destroys one mentally,
would make you cry.
The blossom spent, will be no more.
Mere shadow of, what was before.
Too much heartache to watch them die
for such as I.
``````````````````
