Poem -
Ode to love at first sight
They saw each other on the last train coming in that night  Â
Two separate people, different as darkness is to light Â
Jody came from a world torn apart and felt forsaken Â
Daddy left home but she had the heart to forgive him
Still wanted his hand if she ever got married one day    Â
John was chasing dreams but they kept on running away
Leaving him tired worn down alone and resentful, until
Their eyes shone on each other in wordless adoration, and  Â
 As they walked hand in hand away from the Railway Station
It suddenly occurred to them; without explanation
That they could make each other  whole
