Ode to Boris 💙

Hoping that what with our social distancing chances of catching covid was thin

And “Hallelujah” it sounds like normality will gradually start to begin

Eeh Boris we are all following your broadcasts and love the way that you just take this all on the chin..

But Thank the Lord our children are finally back at school

Parents have been home schooling proving they are nobody’s fool

The biggest problem for them was getting their kids to follow that school ground rule

Coz they weren’t sat infront of teacher they have been as stubborn as a bloody mule
                                  ~
But let’s face it each and everyone of us has had more than enough

Not being able to go out for a drink and a meal at the pubs has been so tough

And everybody needs a friggin’ haircut, we are unkept and rough
