Ode to Ruin
Oh!
thou art clever
with thy silvery trail
slimy tailed
living life to chomp
and thus to ruin
but lo thy cracked
shell, does stick
‘neath boot.
Oh Snail
upon said silvery path
You are no more
but others are.................................
