Death of a Friendship

Death of a Friendship

Light, loved eyes
behold the ponderous flutter
of each stray eyelash,
falling, shatteringly,
with particles of pertained
memory-
the shrouds of love
bright, iridescent in my
familial decimation.

Home, a short-lived journey
in these breaths of ecstasy,
your minds a visionary treasure
held to the eyes of Dionysus, his
hands betrothed in my bloody
rags of mentality-

Head bowed in his reign, rapture
in my own self-loathing, crystallised
and quivering diamonds seethe
an all-encompassing roar
of finality, of the end
to the endless dreams-

Days upon days shatter
into broken dimensions,
a funeral for the weak,
my wicked heart fuelled
by demonic lies,

and I will beg at his feet,
forgive me
forgive me

my loves rapt in hate
forgive me
forgive me

forgive me.

I lose them all and
trudge these bloody feet
through the blacks of my
funeral grounds,
forsaken and lost
between graves.

I truly cannot express my thoughts, you are beyond words.

Words are beautiful beings- torn from the soul in elevated metamorphosis

They are not beyond me, but carry my life and its experiences. Thank you my dear, for the gracious compliment x
