Off I go

Off I go

Off I go, alone I walk
In my mind I have a talk
My words are useless.
Off I go, I start to think
I'd process more with a drink
My thoughts are stupid.
Off I go, still alone
Staring at my empty phone
My time feels wasted.
Off I go, still I'm here
Wishing for a listening ear
I'm beyond lonely.

Being Me

My first thoughts on reading were happy ones, I like to walk alone .. to be able to think. But it became clear it was not a walk like my happy ones. The loneliness really cries out in this. I finished reading feeling sad. Hope you are okay. The poem has been eloquently expressed x
