Oh Danny Boy

Our precious Angel Nico, something happened last Saturday;
That was totally unbelievable, and teardrops came our way!
We went to pick up little Cookie, from Pet Smart Dog Day Care;
Four days a week, to play with other doggies, we always take her there!

On Saturdays, they do special training, for puppies to learn obey;
When we got there, we saw a Bichon, with a trainer shouting, “Stay”!
Each time he listened to her order, he got a puppy treat;
The moment that we saw him, we wanted him to meet!
.
For he is only four months old now, and he looks just as you did;
When you were the very same age, our tears not easily hid!
She brought him out to greet us, it was like a déjà vu;
We held him and we kissed him, it was like being again with you!

His given name is Danny, precious memories came rushing back;
Of our early days together, as our Souls began their wrack!
Four days now we’ve been weeping, for our little Nico boy;
Who changed our lives forever, and brought eternal joy!
