Oh, She Pity's Me

Oh, She Pity's Me

Oh, She said She pity's me

For I'm, broke, addicted and aloneĀ

She didn't say all those wordsĀ

For She knows what is worse

Is the truth... is in the carcass and the bonesĀ

For the remnants that lie

From a once satisfiedĀ

Meeting of mindsĀ

Has long since diedĀ

And now a touch of a handĀ

She once strived to commandĀ

And struck a fireĀ

Has turned to cold stoneĀ

Oh, She pity's meĀ

She said, She saidĀ

Am I to take that as loveĀ

Or her fake, fingered gloveĀ

Which points at our remainsĀ

... with disjointed disdainĀ

And so I write this songĀ

And what is truth and/or right or wrongĀ

Is the nature of the beastĀ

And the heart, mind and soul...Ā and moral of this songĀ
