Oh Thy Lord

Oh Thy Lord

My boat was sinking, or so it seemed,
I closed my eyes,
And before You, I knelt,
With the wave of Your love,
You calmed the storm,
In a flash of seconds,
You swept away my mourn.

I was drowning, or so I thought,
But the touch of Your hand,
Brought my fears to a hault,
You didn’t make me feel,
like it was my entire fault.

The darkness kept creeping
And I was weeping
'Where is God? I fumed,
All my time here looks ruined

God whispered, ‘Why fear when I am here?’
My eyes opened, ears eager to hear
And there You were standing so near,
I saw a light, of a most wondrous hue,
It surrounded me
And the halo became You.

I was falling, hurtling down,
Crashing in freckles and frowns
I was lost, amongst my folks
No-body could hear my chokes
I screamed with my fists clenched,
I ran the streets, damp and drenched
There I was, subduing my cries
Stuffed chips and relied on fries.
In my panic, I called out your Name.
I still had faith, though your call never came.

Sand and pebbles, all deathly rocks,
People around me, clever as fox
All I wished to lay on a bed of love,
I looked straight up
at Your smiling face above,

Your voice of unmatched kindness,
‘My dear child, I live for your happiness.
Even when you are not looking,
I'm standing right there,
Even when you don't feel it,
You're enveloped in my care.

Pain and sorrow are a part of life,
Hold my hand and follow me,
Unchallenged by trouble or strife,
For you may not know it,
But I've descended to love you,
A love that's truest of the true,
A love that’s truest of the true'.

Hello Priti...

We accept, we don't fear, we grab on and He pulls us out...

We may be set to go but, He says not this time...

We just know we have to be different...

Much depends on it...

Amazing write!

Thank you for sharing...
