Oh whatever....

With a beer in one hand and a fag in the other, wonder what people think what about my mother! 

Making plans to go out on the town, only 15 but screw it I know my way around,

I know the world, I’m the big I am, not afraid of danger, being safe? I’m not a fan,

Not afraid to walk in the dark all the way home, from town I see my dad callin, I don’t answer the phone,

I get home and he yells, “where have you been!!” And the whole time I’m thinking... why is he so mean? 

I can’t wait to move out, have my own space, where whatever I want and put makeup on my face,

Now I’m older and I see why they worried, I can’t imagine being so scared to death that my kid might end up buried,

Teens today, listen to your elders!!! They have been there, done that and pulled the same bloody belters!

Stay safe and watch out for each other, you will look back and think, I wish I’d listened to my mother.
