He cuddles her and kisses her saying
“Oh my darling won’t you marry me?”
She blushes with embarrassment sitting on his knee
He puts his right hand in his pocket and pulls out a golden ring
She shies from his affections thinking “Oh you silly thing!!”

She is already spoken for and was betrothed five years ago
but her beloved is away to war
tho she fancied some fun you know
So she will tease him and please him but keep him hanging by a thread
