Old Navy, New Hat

A few days ago was Valentines, and there was something in my mind sat;
I wanted to get Linda a special present, to buy her a chic new hat!
We were going to the Cheesecake Factory, located in a high-end mall;
But before, we decided to go shopping, for a chapeau, would us enthrall!

So we started at “Old Navy”, thinking they’d surely be well-stocked;
But they had nothing in hat inventory, so we walked around the block!
We saw a store named “Charming Charlie’s”, we went in to check it out;
A nice lady came up to help us, and show us all about!

She told us not till Springtime, that their hat orders would be in;
But she said there was one left over, in the back, atop a bin!
We followed her to the store’s rear, there it was, our search was done;
It was just what we were looking for, it’s life with us begun!

Linda placed it on her lovely head, to a full-length mirror did we go;
It was so very sexy, upon her hair, that ever grows!
She looked more like a lass of forty, than a woman of seventy-two;
Oh my lovely Linda, my hat’s e’er off to you!
