OLD SCUFFED SHOE

Old scuffed shoe lying alone on the street
I'm sure at one time you belonged to somebody's feet
What stories do you tell and what places did you go ?
Who did you belong to I would love to know

Old scuffed shoe your strap is now faded and torn
I wonder if a sparkling outfit was also being worn
The years have taken the colour off this once bright shoe
What colour you are I'm sorry I haven't a clue

Old scuffed shoe your journey is now at an end
It's the scrap heap for you a one time trusted friend
