Olympic Ideal
For those competing in the games,
.
You don't know what can be achieved unless you try.
When told your dreams are out of reach, ask why.
Dedicate yourself to proving those doubters wrong,
Showing them what you were made of all along !
You may find yourself exactly where you wish to be,
Sacrifices worthwhile, enjoying sweet taste of victory,
Your heart bursting with pride, highest on the podium,
Revelling in hearing applause of the crowd and anthem.

hey, Richard, I'm a huge sports fan in general so the Olympics are must see TV, especially track and beach volleyball (womens, lol) I wanna go to Brazil so bad I can taste it; uuuuuuuuuuuugh, just kidding, go Canada go! we're aiming for at least 10 bronze medals this year, cheers man, enjoy the GAMES, good write, my friend
