OLYMPIC TIME AGAIN

Sheer determination etched on their face 
Using every sinew to finish in first place 
Ladies and Gents it's Olympic time again 
This time in Japan the home of the yen 

So many human interest stories for sure 
Heartbreak if you finish in the place of four
Team GB will no doubt be looking for gold 
Tears of joy and sadness will be uncontrolled 

Fair play to all the athletes taking part 
Dedication and commitment is just the start
I for one will be glued to my television set 
An Olympic Games to enjoy and not forget
