On a sunny day in September?

On a sunny day in September?

Yellow daffodils blossom and bloom to brighten my mood from a dreary gloom
As I sit in this familiar lonely room
I want time to pass
Oh please let months zoom

I woke up in wonderment on a sunny day in September one and all was vaccinated, I will always remember
Back in the marvellous month of June
when fellowmen celebrated by the light of the moon

We joined in the jubilance right across the nation as we unleashed our freedom from isolation
Oh such a humankind special salvation
One will never forget our appreciation

As everyone rejoiced on that beautiful day, dancing and dining on delicious gourmet
There was an ambience everywhere
as we all looked to the future with healthy, fresh air
