Poem -
On, A Warrior's Faith
Dear Lord, how great
Is the sweetness
That you will bleed for,
Dear friend, when I cry
Why is it you see more?
When my sister died
Why did I fall down,
Why did I cower?
And when my hands are clean
Is it a trumpeting
Of your power?
Dear Lord, I feel
I require more
Than bread and water,
Dear friend, we must be modest
Sheer the sheep,
Spare the slaughter,
And when these two things
I fear, become a river
Between us,
And when the blade, and the will
Become the ultimate difference,
Dear Lord, I pray to you
For your divine
And most Holy deliverance,
Into that
Which weย understand,
As righteousness,
And Holy,
Justice...

Hi ย Tony such a powerful write like a prayerย
asking for deliverance,ย ย I feel
for own shortcomings in lifeย
not being able to understand hard times whyย
we have to go through them but God has a planย
for all.(my interpretation)ย
This verse stood out for me so profound!
