On Christmas Eve 🎅🏼

On this chilly Christmas Eve, there was excitement to be found

As a choir of Carollers belted out their chorus’s and glory shone around

And lovely little soft symmetrical snowflakes landed on the ground

As good old St. Nicholas and his reindeers did not make a single sound

Church bells rang out on that cold, chilly night

Whilst wonderful Mother nature shone her twinkling stars so bright

And all the little boys and girls across the land shut their sleepy eyes so tight

Dreaming of the morning after with such a festive delight

So Santa Claus zig zagged and zoomed on top of each and every slanted, slated roof

Whilst Rudolph with his red nose so bright, magically galloped on in a poof

And though no-one ever noticed this jolly man, there was big boot prints in the snow for living proof

They do say there are nine reindeers that help to pull Santas sleigh, yet no evidence was left from a single hoof…
