That need
To convey truth,

For beauty,

For memories recalled.......
The power
In making sense of it all
Manifests boldly,
Most impactfully,
From gifted individuals
And their ability
To convey
With eager honesty
And steadfast dedication
To the recognition
OfΒ truth
In their own life experiences
And,
The willingness
To alter
His or Her
State of consciousness
During the act
Of creation
Itself...

I am very Sorry to say
"That I just dont get it "
Plenty of big flowery words.
But as a "Poem", what I would describe as a Poem.
I must be a "Philistine"
Because I see lots of other Positive comments Tony.

I suppose we all have our own "Interpretation"
of what we describe as a Poem.
And I am sorry to say that "I just Dont get it"
But I know you're a good man Tony.
And I am just not on the same "Level" as you"
Personally I think there are to many people,

MICHAEL!!....this is one of the most amazing comments I have EVER received!!......First, let me apologize for the late reply ~ I haven't been myself lately but am back at it now........I thank you for the honest reasoning of your words my friend....and NO....i am not offended or upset by this in the slightest.....in fact, I applaud your forthrightness!!...so allow me to just convey that this poem is not in a typical poems formatting ~Β Β meaning that there is no rhyme scheme to it....it is what is known as FREESTYLE and its merits are in the flow of its content and its ability to convey its intent......I do hope you will continue to read some of my stuff because many of them DO have A.B,A,B type rhyme schemes......as for Mother Nature's provisions....Yes ! Tony, sorry I am so very late to the party. As you know life has been a bit busy my neck of the woods. But I am so happy I thought to pop onto your page. This here for me speaks of the true soul of a poet. Those who allow themselves to slip into the depths of lifeβs journey and not be afraid to allow life to spill honestly onto the page, as they ponder and try to make sense of this existence. It takes me to the essay called βthe poetβ by Emerson. Who describes the idea of how a true poet is spiritually connected to the universal knowledge and channels this knowledge to create deep empowering poetry. That poets are the true philosophers of life. An incredible essay that your poem here took me back to. So thank you lovely for penning something so exquisite as this master pieceΒ
