‘On the blink’

‘On the blink’

I don’t know what to write about
My mind is ‘on the blink’
I’m struggling to write a poem
Whilst I’m trying hard to think

I can’t include Autumn
Coz I’ve covered that before
Its the same with my family
I’ve wrote about them galore

Oh deari me, I need a plan
I really need a scheme
Then I can get on with my dittys
Whilst I think about that theme

I usually find it easy
Words simply fall out of my mind
But not today, its difficult
& Almost impossible I find

Oh bother & woe is me
I’ll have to have a break
Will try tomorrow with my poetry
Must be my age for heavens sake ??
