" ON TIME "
Still,
As my horizons grew
I found,
That seasons changed
And friends,
Grew older, more accepting
But,
For me, the jugular vein
In the throat
Of my existence, was severed
And I bled,
As I begged my children
To truly,
Understand
My passing.
For my father,
Who I had come to learn
Was Time,
Had come to its
Finality,
And I,
Merely a tick
Upon the grandfather
Of its
Face...

This is amazing T. Your time writes always hit home and how I feel is what I have said in either writes or sayings or just the way I feel and you nail it so damn completely it blows me away with inspiration.

It is never altered during or after.

Tick Tock, Tick Tock. The pendulum swings its endless countdown to the sands left in the hourglass of our longevity. Our lives last but a nanometer in the scheme of the universe. Yet, for us, each precious day, we try to experience its miracles. May Father Time smile on you, and your ticker last one hundred years!
