A Fading Reverie
Yet somewhere lost, as if a vanished gleam,
The swift tides of modernity now sweep,
Bringing forth changes, like a restless dream,
While ancient echoes fall to slumber deep.
The city's urgent pulse begins to beat,
And urban echoes softly start to call,
Making the pure village essence bittersweet,
Lest it should fade beyond remembering all.
Its hallowed grace, a memory now held fast,
A cherished vision, from a bygone time,
A tranquil beauty, not designed to last,
A poignant echo of its fading prime.
Though change may press, and progress swiftly climb,
Its soulful purity transcends all time.
