On ' Time' passing...
The pendulum swings
Back and forth
Dripping
South, then north
Was it incorruptible faith
Which shone its light
So fluidly within
My sanity's
Melting
Or just time, passing
And my faith
Ticking
For now it shines so brightly
That
Under cover of night
Alone
I am transported
By a blissful inclination
To pray
To taste of meditation
To devour that which
I am also
Afraid of slipping slightly through
For,
I may have let down
My theocentric
Eccentricities
Inadvertently
While,
I simply
Searched
Oh so desperately
For the truth
In time
Passing...

Surely that inspiration is derived from the example he sets. In his indefatigable striving to be better and his uncompromising willingness to fail. Yes...I said Fail...those who will not risk failure, shall gain nothing but mediocrity.
You inspire through your constant striving...your ever-willingness to ask questions and contemplate the swinging of the pendulum...wondering how it was set in motion, if it will ever stop, and why the hell does it seem to be dripping all over the place?!?
In the face of that fear "...of slipping slightly through", you go on anyway. You pray, you meditate, you contemplate..and you write...you make art! Art which is the reflection of your quest...
And that is how you inspire. Which, by the logic of this train of thought, makes you a true artist.

My God JASON!!....you made me cry, outright! I NEVER cry! (unless, of course, it's a true girly movie ? ).....I don't know if you're aware of the impact that you make on writers with such magnificent summations and observations on their works ......but.....trust me....they are worth their weight in gold!! (pardon the cliché ).....I believe you may be a true 'Aesthete' ~ and trust me again....I don't use that word lightly......but finding the heart of me with your words....and making me CRY....over the friggin' INTERNET......is a chore, and you stabbed me right in my core....NOT an easy thing to do.....so I took my time in responding to this comment....because I had to go back and remind myself what a 'true' Aesthete was.....and then......decide if it was even a possibility......I am indebted to you my friend......thank you for your gracious time......I look forward to our next 'gravity'!!
