Poem -

ONCE A PUNK NOW A MONK

He was in his youth a rebel and a punk
Life changed for him when he became a monk
A complete career change I hear you say
Once enjoyed trouble now enjoys to pray

The calling from God happened so very fast
Those wild days would soon be part of the past
Sacrifices were made of which there is no doubt
Alcohol and women he would now do without

The punk now a monk is a most likeable man
Tries to see it from both sides whenever he can
It's hard to believe but this story could be true
Do right by him would be my advice to you
