ONCE UPON A TIME

Once upon a time I could walk into a shop
Someone somewhere decided this must stop
For if I visit the shop a mask I must wear
Keeping a metre apart once I arrive in there

Once upon a time I could walk into a pub
Order a pint of beer and maybe some grub
That like the shop visit a thing of the past
Now my name and address is duly asked

Once upon a time I could walk into my mum's house
Be as noisy as I wanted or as quiet as a mouse
I have now to make sure I'm in her social bubble
For if I'm not I will be fined and will be in trouble

Once upon a time what we all took for granted
New guidelines laid down are now implanted

There's not much social isolation going on in my neck of the woods Kieran, things are pretty much back to normal, I think the people have decided for themselves...nice write of our shitty times! ?
