Poem -
Once Upon the Moon, I Wished on 'Now'
I open my heart to the magic of 'now'
only to the sky my thoughts;
I dare to reveal
whispering to the restless wind
the moon and the universe;
they also listened in
emptying myself of everything past
wanting inspiration to flesh real,
Your tender hand resting on my face
unspoken vows, renounced;
now gone without a trace
sweet affection dancing in--
your eyes minting love songs
never heard--till now

hey T, how are you brother? appreciate the comment my friend, lol never tell me that I reveal anything about myself, I think I'm way too private to be posting poetry on the internet, but it seems I'm addicted lol....nah it wasn't inspired by anyone to be honest, it just reflects my new philosophy about not getting tied up in the past and become a 'relic' I'm trying anyway, I know it's not easy....thanks again Mr. Taylor you always make me feel like a legit 'poet' when you comment on my work....have a good evening

Hey Hardrocklover....thanks my friend, not sure where some of these lines come from to be honest, I think that's why I still write poetry, at times certain writes take on a life of their own...I don't understand the whole thing, but I like it...cheers pal
