Poem -
One
Evil always has its eyes on what we value most highly.
It wants to turn what we cherish into a distant memory.
It has absolutely no regard for our freedoms or choice.
Never would it allow any to speak with a common voice.
It wants to impose its will condemning masses to slavery.
Never would it give any quarter to those defending liberty.
Evil needs to understand that goodness will always prevail.
None of the bastions of righteousness can it ever curtail !
Evil will surely face the might of good souls standing as one.
Evil will forever be held to account for all that it has done.

love your idealism, Richard, it is to be applauded and appreciated as well, the world is full of evil and death and sickness...so if 'good' is going to triumph it better come fast over that mountain of hope, my friend....personally, I hope you are right, perhaps I haven't achieved that level of optimism yet, maybe for one moment, close to Christmas time maybe I will, and realize that my friend Richard had it right all along, marvelous poem, marvelous dream, cheers poet, you live in a beautiful dream, tribute

In World War II the allied forces represented all those for freedom and choice standing together against evils design in the shape of fascism. Good can mobilize troops everywhere to end tyranny and oppression !

We are certainly living in a twisted time...
It breaks my heart for all the people who are killed trying to protect us, their families, and all the innocent people who have been killed for trying to learn and that are trying to just enjoy themselves...
People aren't happy unless there's bloodshed...
It's amazing to me that police get paid after they shoot and kill someone while the investigation goes on...
There are times that they have to and police have been killed just by pulling someone over who was breaking the law...
People killing people over land...
When I want to live somewhere new...
I move...
No killing involved...

This world has been blighted by the actions of bad or seemingly mad souls intent on wreaking havoc when peace and love should be flourishing ! Good souls have to stand united, as one, to end the designs of evil plotting all manner of atrocity.
