One day I'll tell you a story .
One day I'll tell you a story
About a young girl
Who walked the roads of sorrow
Only to find the brighter side
Within All days tomorrow
One day you will see through her eyes Past the deception and all the lies Beyond her tears
and saddened cries
You will see that little bird fly
She dreams in colours
That once were black
This little girl a woman now
on the right track
No thoughts to turn around
Or ever look behind
She got her life back
In charge of her feelings
Her heart and mind
Written within the pages
That bind
One day I'll tell you a story
About a grown women
Who escaped the roads of sorrow
Only to find the brighter side
Within All days tomorrow .

This one for sure, i will read over and over again Lil Sis....What a story, you have told with this one, this truly is art imitating life and this by far, is the best poem i 've read on Cosmo, thus far...It was as if, this one needed to be told and you commanded it, from beginning to end.....Brought chills and waiting feverishly for the continuation...I loved this entire poem....The two below stanza's really set this poem off, very powerful words.....Jim
