Golden sunsets,
Coming... sooner every day,
Always alone, wishing my life away,

Praying for dreams, of you and me,
Standing at ocean's edge,
Our past lives flying too fast,

Meeting beautiful Souls,
At life's end,
Four decades lost, weeping lost love,

Wishing you were,
Only a phone call away,

Overwhelmed by memories,
Feeling guilty at sunrise,
Never loving another Soul,

Even on my sad days,

Memories, of beautiful you, 
Make my days shine brightly with you,

Shouting at dawn,
Why couldn't I hold you,
Only one more day?
