The dedicated individual,       

Very highly decorated

A vanishing breed,        

Just about extinct

Believes in a cause        

Long ago extinguished

Constantly frustrated,

Always on edge

Still will not accept

The futility of the day

Just can’t get a game going

When nobody wants to play
